At On The Wing, we carefully select breeders and farms that prioritize both economic growth and conservation. These farms, typically located in developing countries, provide local workers with ethical and sustainable incomes.

To support conservation efforts, 10-20% of the butterflies bred on these farms are released back into the wild, helping to promote population growth. Additionally, 10-20% of the species we work with today might be extinct or threatened without the crucial work of these farms.

A portion of our profits is donated annually to our nonprofit organization, The Trophia Butterfly Foundation. Through this foundation, we focus on education and the planting of butterfly gardens to support the monarch migration in North America.
